7th Grade Girls - 13th Annual Warrior Rocky Mountain Lax Jamboree

  #
A tournament for our seventh grade girl’s team called the  13th Annual Warrior Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Jamboree that last year featured 219 teams !   This is to be held in Arvada CO the weekend of 6/2/07 – 6/3/07 and Coach Pete will coach.   Even better, our Cheyenne Mountain Lacrosse Club will pick up the entry-fee!

This is a no-brainer .. Coach Pete will need individual commitment-by-girl by the end of this month, in other words the deadline is Monday’s practice 4/30/07, this way I can register by girls-last-name .. [note] .. if girls younger than seventh wish to play-up with seventh for this tourney, they may .. though no eight-graders can play-down in the seventh grade division .. we’re likely to play A Division.

CC Playing at Home

  #
Coach Rox wants girls to know that Colorado College womens lacrosse is playing at home this weekend.   The details are not up on the website yet, but we believe that game details are:

Who:      CC vs. Regis
When:    Friday, April 6th, 7:00 PM
Where:   Stewart Field

If I'm not mistaken, this is the LAST home game for CC, so if you can get there - it's always inspiring for the girls to see how well the women play in college.

CMGL Web Resources

  #
We hope to make better use of our resources this year.  You may have noticed that we're sending the 6th grade newsletters from our website:  www.girlslacrosse.org   We invite you to stop by and take a look at the site.   It has resources there for parents & practice hints for the girls.   MORE IMPORTANTLY everything that we send you will be there if you click on the 6th Grade category to the right of the page.  You can find the original newsletters if you select the newsletter tab at the top.

The website also has a calendar and we hope to keep this up to date with practice, game & meeting information.  Input from all of you is invited.  You will notice a dialogue box next to every entry - you can add your ideas there.
